Cambodia and it's people are recovering
from a turbulent time in the nations history. Cambodia and it's
people have seen so much horror on it's path to peace.
I visited Cambodia through my work with football and am now working
on a project with the Cambodian Soccer Federation. As a football
fanatic it is heartening to learn, and see, that football is booming
in Cambodia.
The FIFA Goal Project has financed a wonderful training
complex on the edge of Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh. One of the
ultimate aims of Goal is to allow independence for each
national association. AMsportstours now works in partnership with
the Cambodian Football Federation to allow your team to help just
by going on holiday to Cambodia.
Holidays for Hope is a unique programme allowing you to participate
in a top class football tour, play games, train at the National
Training Centre, spend time on Cambodia's beautiful beaches and
enjoy other activities such as a boat trip up the river to Angkor
Watt (where Tomb Raider was filmed).
